Global address list not updating in outlook

As a faculty/staff member, your Outlook program automatically syncs with the Exchange server on a regular basis. For example, say a new person joins your workgroup. You are unable to see his information in your address book. This will update contact information, pictures, phone numbers, etc. Now you have the most up-to-date information from Active Directory in your local address book. Under Send/Receive Groups, you should see an option to "Download Address Book." Now you will be prompted for a few options, and you can choose to update from the Global Address List (this is how your AD should push out contacts). I download the full address book and it loads for a couple of seconds. I open some contact which I haven't updated yet, click on update - it is updated. Also the Update button seems to have to do something with "Outlook Social Connector" - see the other screenshot I added? Also, if a new user is added through AD or a number is changed, it doesn’t show on the phone because all that updates is the GAB!!!!Why don't the changes also sync with the contacts?!!Therefore, there is no need for equivalent instructions for the Mac operating system. If you're having issues with your Outlook address book, such as a new employee's information not showing up, there may be a simple solution.

You can select all of them by selecting the first one, scrolling to the end of the list, and click the last item.

You do a search of the Global Address List from your smart Phone but you don’t have enough wireless signal.

Being in the basement, you head back up the stairs and hover by a window.
